Self Portrait #13: August 2015

 I can't believe it's been a whole year since I started this self-portrait a month thing! Well, here's the last one. I'll post a compilation of all of them soon but they're not all scanned on my computer.

School's been out for a while now but AP Scores came out this morning. I got a perfect 5 on my Studio Art AP and I couldn't be prouder! Anyway I thought since now that my Junior year is officially over I'd draw something symbolic of that which is this--my Junior prom corsage.

Self Portrait...#11:June

Long time no self portrait? Well I have plenty of excuses but the point is I have a lot more work I haven't been posting because I'm not supposed to post my AP Studio Artwork, so I'm going to wait until after I receive my scores, maybe even later. In the meantime I'll work on my graphic work...

I held up a mirror for about an hour and now my arm is sore so there's that. 

I really hope I can improve my graphic painting this Summer.

So I'm the vice president of my schools National Art Honor Society and all the officers went to the Creative Industries Studio conference in Washington, that was back in November so I'm not sure why I'm posting this so late but here!

Self Portrait Statuses

Just FYI, My February and March self portraits are done! However, they're part of my Ap Studio portfolio. My teacher asked that we dont post any of our work online so I cant post either of them until after the APs. Guess you'll just have to take my word for it!

Also! I'm currently on Spring Break and I'm finally home because I've been off visiting schools the rest of the time. I went to RISD, MICA, and MassArt--with portfolio reviews from MICA and MassArt(which went really well, I got really informative and positive feedback!). I'm visiting Pratt Institute on Friday and I still have 2 AP pieces due after break so that's fun.

Self Portrait #6: January 2015

A very late edition of a self portrait to this blog, yikes.
I promise you I did begin this self portrait in January and didnt touch it until March but Im going to date this post as January 31st dispite the fact that today is March 5th.
